Micro Mouse-1996
I would like to thank Nanndasara sir who recovered and published this
20 years old video. I did this activity with one of my friend Shammi Jayaransi who was not shown in this video. At that time I was in second year and Sammi was in the first year and we wrote over 5000 lines of C code day and night to complete that task.
At that time Hewagamage sir helped us a lot together with Samanthika sir even though he was not shown in the video. We went Thailand and won the third place in the international micro mouse competition and our visit was fully sponsored by ICT and Industry in 1996. As we all know Prof. Samaranayake was the key person behind this task and without his support we could not win that competition.
Now we are in 2016. Do we have such videos to play back in 2036?
If not this is the right time to think back.
